The Singles Lounge

A moderated conversation series where single Christians talk honestly about modern dating.

This is not a debate, a dating show, or a space for surface-level advice. It’s a structured conversation focused on clarity — not winning.

Each episode is recorded remotely and features 1 man and 1 woman in conversation with Ezra Garnett as moderator. Not all applicants will be selected.

A space for real conversation.

The Singles Lounge exists to surface what single Christians are actually experiencing right now — what’s working, what isn’t, and what people feel but rarely say out loud.

It’s not built on hot takes.

It’s built on clarity, respectful tension, and thoughtful questions.

What this is—and what it isn’t.

This is:

  • A virtual conversation moderated by David “Ezra Garnett” Robinson

  • A respectful space for disagreement and honest perspective between 1 man and 1 woman

  • A format designed to create clarity, not consensus

This is not:

  • Counseling or therapy

  • A sermon or Bible study

  • A debate stage or call-out session

  • A matchmaking or dating service

How it works.

  1. You apply using the form below

  2. If selected, you’ll be contacted to schedule a short pre-call

  3. We record a moderated virtual conversation with 1 man, 1 woman, and the host

  4. The episode is published publicly, with short clips shared across platforms

What to expect in the conversation.

Episodes are structured for clarity, not chaos. You won’t be asked to perform—just to speak honestly. Potential show segments include the following:

The Line

Quick statements where guests respond Yes / No / It Depends (no long explanations unless prompted by the host).

The Mirror

A moment that brings the viewer into the room: what you’d want people to understand if they feel challenged.

Final Take

One sentence that summarizes your dating reality—simple, personal, and clear.

Who this is for.

You don’t need a perfect story. You do need the ability to reflect, communicate, and engage respectfully.

Great fits include people who are:

  • Single and actively navigating dating today

  • Comfortable speaking on camera

  • Able to disagree without attacking

  • Honest, self-aware, and grounded

This may not be a fit if you:

  • Want a platform to “teach” or correct others

  • Are looking for counseling or emotional processing

  • Aren’t comfortable being clipped and shared publicly

  • Want a space to vent or speak without accountability

Participation & Expectations

The Singles Lounge is a conversation-based series, not a casting call or paid appearance.

Participation is completely optional and opt-in, designed for people who want to take part in an honest, moderated discussion about dating and relationships.

Each episode is recorded virtually and features 1 man and 1 woman in conversation with Ezra Garnett as the moderator.

Here’s what to expect:

What we provide

  • A structured, moderated environment designed to bring out clear, honest perspective

  • Thoughtful prompts that push beyond surface-level answers

  • Professional audio and video production (final edited episode)

  • Exposure on a growing YouTube platform where conversations are seen, clipped, and shared

  • A respectful setting focused on clarity, not conflict

What we don’t provide

  • Cash payment or appearance fees

  • This is not paid casting, contracted work, or a gig.

  • Participation is selective and based on fit for the conversation.

  • It’s a conversation opportunity for people who are open to sharing their perspective in a thoughtful, public setting.

This is best suited for people who have real dating experience and can communicate it clearly.

If that aligns with you, you’re invited to apply.
